How Our Network Works
Talk to a local provider
Who You Talk To
When you ask for help, you end up talking to an independent tree provider in the Los Angeles area. It is a local business with its own crew, trucks and insurance. Candidatebusiness Tree Service is the link that gets you to them. We do not list staff names, because the person you speak with works for the provider, not for us.
Request a callback to check provider availability for your street and your kind of tree job.
What the Conversation Looks Like
Expect a few plain questions. Where is the tree? How tall is it? Is it leaning, dead or already down? What stands under it or beside it? Have your photos ready. A provider may ask to visit before giving a number, especially for a large tree, a tight yard or a roof nearby.
Busy week? Say so. Ask for a time that fits your family's routine, and ask how long the crew will be on site.
Questions Worth Asking
Write these on a sticky note before you start the conversation:
- Are you licensed and insured for tree work here? Can I see proof?
- Does the estimate include cleanup, hauling and the stump?
- What will you protect, such as the lawn, fence, pool or sprinklers?
- How will you get the tree down? Climbing, a lift or a crane?
- What could change the price on the day?
- Can you help document storm damage for an insurance claim?
Ask for it written. A clear written quote beats a number said over the phone. Costs vary by tree size, access and risk, so expect a range of prices from different providers.
You Stay in Charge
You do not have to say yes. You can get more than one quote, ask for time and say no. Clear the path and move cars and patio furniture before the crew arrives, but leave the cutting to them. If something feels rushed or unclear, pause the conversation.
